Mrs. Mary Jolly, longtime resident of the Mid-Del area, celebrated her 90th birthday Saturday with a gala party held at the Soldier Creek Home Extension Club, 9104 S.E. 15th St., in Midwest City. Over 50 guest were present, most of who where descendants of Mrs. Jolly and her late husband William. Mrs. Jolly was born August 12, 1890 in Windsor, Mo. She remembers living in a dugout at "11 or 12". She married William in Arapaho, Ok. in 1907. Since then they lived most of their life in Oklahoma. Mrs. Jolly presently resides in a rest home at 8016 S.E. 15th in Midwest City. There are 8 surviving children, ranging in age from 70 to 50, 4 of whom live in Oklahoma City. She also has 38 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren. When asked if she was having a good time, Mrs. Jolly said "I always have a good time, you're never too old to have a good time. It's the best birthday I ever had."

Survived by daughters, Maudie Musgrave of OKC, Erma Singleton of Sand Springs, Ok.; Wanda Hash of Pinole, Ca.; sons, Wayne and Vernon Jolly of OKC and Kenneth Jolly of Tecumseh; 36 grandchildren, 44 great-grand-children and numerous great-great grandchildren. Services 1 pm Thursday, Bill Merritt Chapel, 4605 S. Penn.
