Services for Mrs. Pearl Russell, 79, the widow of John A. Russell, who died in 1954, were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Stamey Mortuary. The Rev. John Riesenmey officiated. Interment was at Savannah Cemetery.
Mrs. Russell, a native of Cawker City, Kansas, died Monday night at a St. Joseph hospital. She lived in the Savannah area before moving to St. Joseph about 50 years ago. Most of that time she had lived at 3115 St. Joseph Avenue.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Rebstock, Baltimore, Md.; one son, Robert E. Russell, St. Joseph, two sisters, Miss Margaret Reece, of the home, and Mrs. Alice Kennedy, Denver, Colo., and three brothers, Dr. C. L. Reece, Savannah; Darl Reece, St. Joseph, and Lloyd Reece, Mount Vernon, Mo.
