Robert E. Anderson, 74, of Olney, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2002, at Olney Care Center.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Ted Kemp of First Baptist Church in Olney officiating. Entombment will be in Crest Haven Memorial Chapel with full military rites by Richland County Veterans Organization.
Mr. Anderson was born on August 29, 1928, in Richland County, the son of Floyd and Katie
(Myers) Anderson.
He was a Korean War veteran and attained the rank of Corporal. He was a retired employee of National Vendors in St. Louis, Mo. He attended the Congregational Christian Church and was a member of the Eagles, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion clubs.
Mr. Anderson is survived by four sons, Dennis Anderson and his wife, Lucy, of Plainsboro, N.J., David Anderson, of Maryland Heights, Mo., Mike Anderson and his wife, Robin, of Maryland Heights, Mo., and Dale Anderson, of Ballwin, Mo.; a daughter, Linda Anderson, of Maryland Heights, Mo.; two brothers, Jerry Anderson and his wife, Pearl of Olney, and Neil Anderson and his wife, Nada, of Olney;-agister,
Juanita Long of Griffith, Ind.; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
