Mary (Grimes) Rahn, 75, of Oro Valley, Ariz., formerly of Geneva [Illinois], died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001. She was born May 17, 1926, in Mitchell, Ind., the daughter of Noah and Bessie Grimes. Mrs. Grimes had lived in the area for several years before moving to Arizona in 1986. She worked as a travel agent in Geneva and as a secretary at St. Charles High School for approximately 10 years. She is survived by her sons, Stephen and Sterling; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Philip Rahn. A memorial service was held Oct. 27 at the Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Mesa, Ariz. Contributions in her memory may be made to Autumn House Women's Shelter (480) 835-5555, in Mesa, Ariz.
