Judith Ann (Schworer) Harris, 65, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, after a courageous 29-year battle with Parkinson's disease, in Excela Health and Hospice Center, Jeannette. Born March 14, 1944, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of the late Henry Edward and Katherine (Rebick) Schworer. She had worked as a security guard at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg. Judy's Catholic faith was very important to her, and she was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Hempfield Area High School. She enjoyed gardening, entertaining, equestrian sports, traveling and coin collecting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Richard Harris. She is survived by her two sons, Henry Harris and wife, Rebecca, of Washington, D.C., and Matthew Harris and wife, Maureen, of Jeannette; six grandchildren, Patrick, Jacoba, Adam, Lila, Mark and Michael Harris; four aunts, Margaret Charlesworth and Helen Todaro, both of Greensburg, Mary Cramer, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Lena Barbish, of Adamsburg; and numerous cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Judith from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, 724-837-0020. Prayers will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Monsignor Raymond E. Riffle as celebrant.
