Ira I. King, 89, 4556 Middle Road, Jeffersonville, died at 7 a.m. today at Madison. King, a native of Jeffersonville, was a retired ship's carpenter and a member of Branham's Tabernacle. Surviving are four sons, Ira I. King Jr., Hope, IN; and Harry, William, and Raymond King all of Jeffersonville. five daughters, Mrs. Violet O'Brine, Los Angeles, CA; Mrs. Louise Dean and Mrs. Hazel Pennington, both of Cincinnati, OH; Mrs. Dorothy Curl, Jeffersonville and Mrs. Patricia Nickell, Orange Park, FL; one sister, Mrs. Laura Lee, Jeffersonville; 34 grandchildren; 77 g-grandchildren; and 30 gg-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Coot's funeral home with burial in Eastern Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.
