Born in Seattle, WA, in 1917. The youngest of six children of Lorenz and Cecilia Pavish. Graduated from Ballard High School in Seattle in 1935. Graduated from Columbus Hospital School of Nursing in 1938. Married Daniel E. Farley in 1939. Mother of Fredrick D. Farley (born 1944) and L. Thomas Farley (born 1947). Moved to Bellevue, WA, in 1951. Spent most of her professional life working as a Registered Nurse for Overlake Hospital in Bellevue. Retired from nursing in 1975. Active in her Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bellevue. Hobbies included flower gardening, cooking, and world travel. Moved to Kirkland, WA, in 1974 and to Bothell, WA, in 1979. Active in her local chapter of the Washington State Democratic Party from the 1970s to the 1990s. Died of Leukemia in 1992, following a brief illness. She looked upon death with positive thoughts and as a logical next step. In her own words, "I'm looking forward to meeting Jesus." Survived by her husband (who passed away in 1998) and by her sons. Also survived by her brothers Stanley Pavish and John Pavish and by her sister Cecilia Thompson.
