A lifelong resident of Aiken County, Mr. Gordon was the son of the late William and Susan Green Gordon and was a retired farmer and a member of Talatha Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lenora Heath Gordon; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Gregory of Aiken; a son, Claude B. Gordon at Route 1, Aiken; a sister, Mrs. Ida Richardson of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, O. M. Gordon of Aiken, William Gordon of Route 1, Aiken and Samuel Gordon of Augusta, Ga.; two grandchildren, Ralph Gregory of Atlanta and Bonnie Gordon of Aiken.
