Ernest R. "Red" Durden, 78, passed away on May 31, 2009, at Orange Park Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Orangedale and Clay County, Red is survived by two sisters, Ida Rae Snyder and Josephine Smith; two brothers, Francis and Elbert Durden; and two stepsons, Robert and Richard Noll.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Craig Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Switzerland Cemetery.
