Alice is the daughter of Captain James & Ellen (née Duff) Flood of Skerries, Ireland, later Brooklyn, New York. Her father left for America in 1896 and once he was able to establish himself, he sent for the family to join him. When she was 6 years old her mother bought her & her brother Harry to the United States.

Alice passed away in the summer of 1901 before her 8th birthday.

✞ Alice Flood is buried in the the family's plot at Third Calvary in Queens. Buried with her are her mother, father, brother Harry and his wife Margaret.

Gravesite Details

Circa 2013, marble tombstone is in an extremely deteriorated condition, heavily worn away, with pieces chipped off and deep cracks in the cross. It's unlikely to survive another decade
