Trina Michelle Watson, 51, of Fort Pierce, FL passed away on Saturday September 5, 2015 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Fort Pierce.

She was born on August 25, 1964 in Fort Pierce, FL a native of Saint Lucie County.

Trina attended the public schools of Saint Lucie County, a graduate of Fort Pierce Central High School Class of 1982. She furthered her education at Bethune Cookman University and graduated 2nd in the Class of 1986. She was also a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

She was a member of New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher, choir member, Youth Department, Finance Committee and kitchen committee. Trina enjoyed being an organizer, book keeping, reading and traveling.

Survivors include her daughter, Janiel Watson of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Kaye Frances Gibson of Fort Pierce, FL; father, Rubin (A. Jean) Johnson of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Cedric L. (Pamela) Gibson, Rory (Chontae) Johnson, Rodrick Johnson of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters, Dawn S. (Gerard) Burns, Kim L. (Maurice) Shazier of Fort Pierce, FL.

Visitation will be held 3 to 6PM and the wake will be 6 to 7PM Friday September 11, 2015 at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1513 North 23rd Street, Fort Pierce. A funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday September 12, 2015 at East Florida Primitive Baptist Association Temple, 3950 Juanita Avenue, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
