The Buswell, Wilford and Medbourn(e) families migrated at about the same time from the area of Clipston, England, first to Lorain County, Ohio in about 1854 and then to Marmont (Culver) in about 1867.
John served in the Civil War, Company D, 178th Regiment, Ohio Infantry.
By 1868, they had moved to Culver.
