Death of Mrs. A.W. Adams

Passed On at Home of Relatives Early This Morning

Mrs. A.W. Adams, wife of A.W. Adams, passed on this morning at the home of C.E. Adams, 1009 W. Sycamore street at 4 o'clock. Death was due to stomach trouble. Mrs. Adams, together with her husband, had come here three weeks ago from their home in Copan, Oklahoma, to spend a few weeks with relatives, when Mrs. Adams became suddenly ill.

The deceased was born at Benton, Illinois, December 31, 1840, and was 78 years, 6 months and six days of age. On October 15, 1865 she was married to A.W. Adams and in the year 1878 they moved to a farm near Sedan, Kansas, where they resided for ten years. After that they farmed in Idaho and Oklahoma, finally making their home at Copan, Oklahoma. Besides the husband the deceased is survived by two sons, Charles and Henry of this city and a step-daughter who lives in Idaho.

The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning from the Adams home with Rev. B. Young of Liberty officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.
