George Clay Musselwhite

George Clay Musselwhite, 76, of West, a retired subcontractor, died Saturday, November 23 at his home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 25 at Southern Funeral Home in Durant, with the Rev. W. M. Daves officiating. Burial was in West City Cemetery.

Mr. Musselwhite, an Attala County native, was a member of the West Baptist Church. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: his wife, Annie Mussclwhite of West; one son, Is Musselwhite of New Orleans, Louisiana and four sisters, Annie Drake of Durant, Kate Martin of West, Elizabeth Thomas and Alice Ellis, both of Kosciusko.

Active pallbearers were Frank David, David Drake, Stacey Wilson, Martin, Dr. Bob Martin, and Thomas, Jr.
