Anne Houston Bringman, 87, died November 10, 2007 at Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg.
She was born Anne Houston Kegerreis on November 6, 1920, to William Kegerreis and Anna Blanch Johnston in Middle Spring.
Anne graduated from Shippensburg State College where she also met her husband, John. She was a third grade teacher in the Carlisle School system for over thirty years.
She has been a member of the Middle Spring Presbyterian Church, the Second Presbyterian Church in Carlisle and the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church. She has been a Sunday school teacher and done various volunteer duties at her church. She delivered Meals on Wheels dinners to the elderly.
Anne enjoyed gardening, reading, politics and most of all, playing bridge. She was a member of the same bridge group for over thirty five years. She and her husband, John, went on numerous excursions over seas to exciting and unusual places.
She is survived by her husband John Bringman, her daughter and son-in-law Sue and Ian Milnes of Mechanicsburg; she is also survived by her sister Mary Louise Polk of Bethany Village and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a private graveside service for the family at Middle Spring Presbyterian Church. A memorial service is scheduled for November 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church, 101 North 23rd Street, Camp Hill.
