Nora Lee CLAXTON Cole was the best cook !! Her and Lindells wife, Jewel Claxton.

Nora was a genuinely sweet and kind woman. I adored her.
Her obit was in Abilene Reporter News on 8-16-94. Nora died at age 92.
Nora died in a nursing home in Odessa.

Funeral services were by Elliot Hammil Funeral Home in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas. Her burial was at Clyde Cemetery.

Nora was born in Waxahachie, Texas and moved to Abilene, Texas in the 1920's from Jones County, Texas.

She worked for a while as a secretary at the Southwestern Peanut Company.

Nora went to the 16th and Vine Church of Christ.
Nora was found dead at a nursing home at 4:30 AM on Monday morning, August 15, 1994.

Nora's obit says her husband's name was Frank B. Cole. Other records say Frank Gilmore Cole.

It also says her marriage year was 1928 in lieu of 1929 that's in other records.
