The remains of the late Mrs. Simon Brown will arrive from Blackville, S.C., on the 1:55 Southern train this afternoon and the interment will be made in the city cemetery on arrival of the train, the funral services having been held in Blackville. Mrs. Brown passed from life Thursday afternoon in her 88th year, her last illnes having coverd a period of two weeks.
Mrs. Brown is survived by several daughters, Mrs. J.H. Levy of Augusta, Miss I. Michalson of Blackville, Miss J. Sorentrue of Orangeburg, S.C., Mrs Sam Silverstein of Wabash, Ind., Mrs D Beerwald of Philidelphia and Mrs Herbert Nachman of Chicago; also one sister, Mrs. H. Bowman, of Augusta. Eight grandsons also survived her, who will ast as pallbearers at her funeral.
