Sarah Elizabeth Richardsone (or Richardson) was born in Savannah, GA on July 16, 1833. In 1852, She married William Gabbett from Ireland. He served in the CSA as a Captain in the CS Engineering Corps.
Mrs. Gabbett designed the CSA Cross of Honor and served many faithful years in the UDC as Custodian of the CSA Cross of Honor.
She died in Atlanta, GA on July 16, 1911 and is buried in Lot 647-- Laurel Grove North Cemetery in Savannah, GA.
