Doris CARROLL, 69, of Alton died 9:20 p.m. Nov. 16, 1998, at home.
Mrs. CARROLL was born April 7, 1929, in Ina, a daughter of Theodore and Mary LEONARD BEATY. She married Wilburn R. CARROLL, who died Jan. 7, 1970.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with the Rev. David SHORES officiating. Burial will be in Kirk Cemetery, Ina.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina.
Mrs. CARROLL is survived by two sons, Bill CARROLL of Alton and Mike CARROLL of Alton; four grandchildren, William R. CARROLL Jr. of Clintwood, Va., Trisha Renee CARROLL of Carlinville, Jessica Erin LEWIS of Portage DeSioux, Mo., and Beau Michael LEWIS of Portage DeSioux, Mo.; one great-grancchild; and four sisters, Mary Lou CLARK of Ewing, Linda BEATY of Mt. Vernon, Shirley WILSON of Mt. Vernon and Katie JOHNSON of Ewing.
Mrs. CARROLL was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.
For those who wish memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina.
