Mary I. Bastin 1922-2015
TANFORD — Mary I. Bastin, 92, of Greenwood, Indiana, formerly of Stanford, died Thursday.
Born Dec. 24, 1922, in Rockcastle County, she was the daughter of the late William M. & Maggie Lee Renner Bradley.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Carroll Briggs; three grandsons, Anthony Derringer, Michael Derringer and Chris Derringer; two step-grandsons, Michael Briggs and Matthew Briggs; three great-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Newell E. Brock and L.C. Bastin; one grandson, Greg Derringer; two brothers; and three sisters.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. A private burial will take place in New Salem Cemetery.
Visitation is 12-2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
