She was a pioneer member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Society. Her Catholic Faith was important to her and she worked very hard to put all of her children in Catholic schools. Jane was a member of the meat cutters union and the Lady Elks. Jane was very family oriented and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. Jane loved to bake your favorite treats and share them with many friends.

Jane and Joseph Albert Tessier's wife Pursy were first cousins and the Sauve's were 4th cousins to the Tessiers.
