At Madera, George Holston, 23, a sailor from the Alameda Naval Air Station was killed when his car left the highway and struck a tree. The accident occurred on Highway 99, six miles north of the city.
Navy authorities said that Holston is survived by his widow, Margaret Louise Holston, of Eau Gallie, Florida.
