Henry Langholff, an old resident of the town of Sumner, committed suicide by hanging himself, on Tuesday evening He had been to Whitewater with Julius Gise, who lives on the Whitewater road. Mr. Gise states that he noticed that Langholff acted quite despondent, and it was with some difficulty that he was pursuaded to accompany him home. In the night the family of Mr. Gise heard Langholff get up and go out doors, but thought nothing further of the matter. Wednesday morning on arising, they were horrified on beholding Langholff hanging to a tree not far from the house, cold and stiff in death. The cause of death by his own hand is said to be financial troubles. He was about 70 years
of age
