Lula Myra Holt Hagan, age 100, of Paducah, Kentucky, formerly of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at the Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. Born in Milburn, Kentucky, on February 21, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Billy M. and Era Alice (Brent) Holt. Mrs. Hagan was a telephone operator, and she retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Company and the United States Weather Bureau. She was a member of the National Association of Retried Federal Employees and the American Association of Retired Persons. She was a member of the Baptist church. Her husband, John C. Hagan, preceded her in death. Her son, William J. Hagan, and her brother, Rufus C. Brown, also preceded her in death.Mrs. Hagan is survived by one sister, Alice McLain of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren, Marc Hagan and Adele Biasiolli, and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, May 6, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kenneth Puckett officiating. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc..
