A time to be born and a time to die....Myrtis George was born February 28,1935 in Greensburg ,Louisiana to the late James and Bertha Edwards George.She was a resident of Plaquemine,Louisiana.She departed this life at 1:45am at her home.
A time to united in love of Holly Matrimony....Myrt was married to the late Henry Snell Sr
A time to plant..... Myrt accept Christ as her personal savior at the St Peter Baptist Church in Baton Rouge,Louisiana under the leadership of the late Rev W.L. Washington She later moved her membeship to St Peter Baptist Church in Plaquemine under the leadership of the late Rev E.D.B. Reed and later Rev. Van Smith Jr.
A time to labor.....She was very devoted Usher and one of the founders of the Bachelord Service at St Peter.
A time to mourn.....Myrt leaves to cherish her memories her six children Dorothy(Thaddeys)Bynum,Janet Haynes,Florence(Tyrone)Hall Sr.,Henry(Carolyn)Snell Jr.,Cleveland(Valerie)Snell,and Cynthia (Joseph)Dunbar.one brother Robert(Margaret)George,a daughter-in-law Patricia Snell a mother-in-law Annie Lee Snell,sixteen grandchildren,seventeen great grandchildren,10 brother and sister-in-law,two aunts,a godchild and a host of nieces,nephews and other loving relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents James and Bertha George,her husband Henry Snell one son Clifton Snell one brother Leroy George,and one sister Ethel Mae Denham.
