Terry Ronald Hackler, age 62, of Cedar Hill, Texas passed away after a long illness, January 17, 2009. He was born July 21, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Barney and Corinne (Van Hoozer) Hackler. He received his Master's Degree from Southern Methodist University and was a computer programmer for the City of Dallas as well as The Southland Corporation. Terry was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Woodmen of the World. He loved to travel. He is survived by his aunt, Ruth Thomas of Princeton, Texas; numerous cousins, and a host of other loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Corinne Hackler. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
