Graveside services for Donald L. West, Nampa, Idaho, were Friday at 2 p.m., at the Webber Cemetery. A former resident of this area, he died Monday, Jan. 8, at Boise, Idaho. He was a brother of Fitz West, Superior.
He was born Nov. 13, 1910, in Jewell County, Kansas, to Perry and Nellie Fearing West.
He was raised and educated in Kansas and graduated from Superior High School and then attended the University of Nebraska. After his schooling he started farming and farmed for many years near Superior.
He was united in marriage to Faye P. Fuller, Aug. 17, 1974 in Kansas.He retired and in 1975 they moved to Nampa, Idaho, where they have since resided.He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Faye, Nampa; one step-son, James Fuller, Centralia, Wash.; one step-daughter, Janalie Rieger, Federal Way, Wash.; two sisters, Bessie Redinger and Anna Beeson, both of Mission Hills, Calif.; one brother, Fitz West, Superior; four grandchildren; and many other relatives.
The Rev. Jerry Heydenberk was the officiant.Williams Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Superior Express, Superior, Nebraska, January 18, 1990.
