Kevin Layne Boyd, 44, of Orland, CA, passed away on July 12, 2005 after a sudden illness. He was born September 15, 1960 in Bend, Oregon to Walter (Chuck) & Donna Boyd. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Catherine (Cathie). He is survived by his beloved children, daughter Shelby and son William; parents Walter (Chuck) and Donna Boyd of Camas, Washington; brother Mark (Tricia) of Ft. Worth, Texas and sister Carolyn (Mike) Wagner of Portland, Oregon; father-in-law James Fahilly, sisters-in-law Sue Fahilly and Pattie (Mike) Ward and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces, cousins and special son and daughter, Joriah and Lecia Dering, and loving friends. Kevin was raised in Portland, Oregon, graduated from Parkrose High School and attended Oregon State University and Butte College. Kevin was a building construction contractor and worked since 1991 for the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge, Willows, CA. Memorial Service will be held at his home church, First Lutheran, Orland, CA, Sunday, July 17 at 2:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Portland, Oregon.
