NOTRE DAME - Sister Josepha died in peace at the age of 98. She had a full life, teaching in California for 55 years and in Idaho and Utah, often as Superior or Principal. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and shared her talents with her students. Other talents included crocheting, cross-stitching and designing greeting cards which were sold in the Convent Boutique. She loved to cook and published a cookbook, "Hors d'Oeuvres and Even More!"--a big hit at the Christmas Bazaars where she would come and autograph the cookbooks.

Reception of the body and wake service on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at 4 p.m. with the Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. All ceremonies in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of the Holy Cross, Ministry with the Poor, Saint Mary's, Notre Dame, IN, or online at www.cscsisters.org.
