Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Cole and Maud Mortuary chapel, 215 S. Washington St., for Erwin Fred Gates, 738 W. Cholla, who died Sept. 7 at his home. The Rev. Arthur C. Wade, First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Gates was born Jan. 3, 1933 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. A resident of Casa Grande for three months, he had been in the salvage business.
He is survived by his wife, Frances, of Casa Grande; his daughter, Connie Sue Gates, of Pontiac, Michigan; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Gates Sr., of Pontiac; his brother, Ralph, of Great Plains, Michigan; his sisters, Mrs. Barbara Miracle and Mrs. Joan Tubbs, both of Pontiac.
