OBITUARY---BARNES
Wednesday, May 11, 1932 , Princeton Telegraph, Princeton, Mercer County, Missouri, USA

Marian Janette Barnes, daughter of Mr and Mrs Marion Barnes was born May 1, 1913, about four miles south of Princeton, and departed this life April 28, 1932, being 18 years 18 years, 11 months and 27 days old. She was making her home with her mother, Mrs Andrew Houk in Princeton when she died.

She is survived by her mother, stepfather, grandfather, J.C. Washburn, one sister, Mrs Cleo Stottlemyre of Spickard and four half sisters, besides other relatives. Marian was loved by all who knew her and made friends wherever she went. She has made her home with her grandparents, Mr and Mrs JC Washburn, practically all of her life as her father died in her infancy. Her grandmother died a few years ago.

Funeral services were held Saturday April 30, at the home in Princeton at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev William Colver, of Gilman City, mo. Interment was in the Pine Cemetery.
