Emery C. Toth Jr., 55, of Harrison City, died Sunday, May 26, 2002, in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was born April 20, 1947, in Uniontown, a son of the late Emery C. Sr. and Pauline Brozik Toth. He was employed as a band director and music teacher for the Penn-Trafford School District. He was a member of St. Barbara Church, Harrison City, where he served as an usher and member of the council. He was a graduate of Duquesne University with a master's degree in music, was a U.S. Army field band veteran, a past president of the Bushy Run Lions Club, having served on the board of directors and the Education Scholarship and Membership Program committees. He was conductor of the Jeannette Community Band, the director of Pennsylvania Lions All-State Band, a member of the Penn-Trafford Education Association, a director of the Fort Pitt Division of Train Collectors Association, a member of the L.B.G. Club, the American Flyers Collectors Club and the National Association of 'S' Gaugers. He is survived by his fiancee, Rae Adaire Lynn; and cousins, Ed, Jim, Frank and John Patrick, James Toth, Sally Brozik Dawson, Andrew T. Brozik II and Frank Brozik III; and a second cousin, Sabrina Saddler. Friends will be received at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Harrison City, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Barbara Church with the Rev. Robert Lubic as celebrant. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Briar Hill, Fayette County. The Bushy Run Lions Club will hold a service Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., and a vigil service will be held Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., both in the funeral home.
