Rowena Elizabeth Pope Masur Anderson, oldest child and daughter of Eula PAYNE & J. Ralph Pope passed away, October 23, 2013, in Poway, San Diego County, California. Rowena married Louis Charles Masur November 17, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. They had three children together.
Rowena is survived by her daughter, Sherry Masur Brown Farrell Flatt of Flagstaff, AZ and son Dennis Masur, his wife Jane Bass Masur of Poway, CA; one sister Peggy (Barthol) Pope Kehr of Lee's Summit, Missouri and four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Rowena was proceeded in death by her infant son Gary Joseph, 1957; her parents, two sisters, Loris and Martha, two brothers John Charles & James Robert, and one grandson Donovan Masur Brown.
A memorial service is April 7, 2014. Rowena's cremains were scattered in a field near Flagstaff, AZ.
