DUCK HILL - Funeral services will be held tor Edwin Bennett Holmes, 43, at 3 p m. Tuesday In the Duck Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Duck Hill cemetery.

He died Sunday afternoon at the VA Hospital In Memphis after lengthy illness there.

He was knitter with the Grenada Industries. He was a Deacon in the Baptist Church, a member of the America Legion and Masen. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors Include his wife, Mrs. Clara Herman Holmes of Duck Hill; two sons. Edwin Holmes and Greg Holmes, both of Duck Hill; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Johnson of Jackson; two brothers. Glenn Holmes of Orange, Tex. and Frank Holmes of Memphis. Tenn., three sisters. Mrs. Harold Poss of Hernando; Mrs. Ben Alford of Huntsville, Ala.; and Mrs. Bill Carver of Nashville, Tenn.
