Services for Harold L. Hunziker, 75, of Route 1, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Pettett Funeral Home, with burial in Murdale Garden of Memory. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Hunziker died Friday, Oct. 3, 1986, in the Jackson County Nursing Home.
He was a retired assistant engineer for the former Brown Shoe Co.
He was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Fraternal Order of Eagles 670 and the Moose Lodge, all of Murphysboro.
He was born Nov. 13, 1910, in Murphysboro, to Alfred and Pearl Traylor Hunziker.
He married Henrietta Manson on April 15, 1930, in Tuscaloosa, Ala. She preceded him in death July 5, 1978.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen McDaniel of Pomona and Mary Cripps, Murphysboro; five sons, David, Bill, Paul, Bob and Terry Hunziker, all of Murphysboro; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Violet Lichliter, Booneville, Mo., and Doris Swafford, Murphysboro.
Two granddaughters and one brother also preceded him in death.
