Anthony "Dick" DiCicco was born on Nov. 7, 1906 in Matrice, Italy. He was the first of five children, having brothers Michael & Bert and sisters Jean & Theresa. His birth record lists his name as "Carmine" Antonio and his birth date as Nov. 10th. His parents were Michael Angelo and Maria Luisa (nee Spuzzillo) Di Cicco.
Dick was 23 when he married Ornella "Rollie" Calandra on Sept. 14, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio and they had a daughter, Marlene born in 1933. He worked for Alcoa until his retirement.
Dick was living at 806 Rudyard Road when he died on Oct. 19, 1979 from a heart attack at the age of 72. He is buried at All Soul's Cemetery in Chardon in Sec. 17, Lot 151, along with Rollie who passed away 23 years later on Jan. 12, 1992.

ANTHONY (DICK) DiCICCO, beloved husband of Ornella (nee Calandra), dearest father of Mrs. John Sorz (Marlene); devoted grandfather of Kimmie and Nick; dear brother of Mrs. Jean DeFranco, Michael (deceased), Humbert and Mrs. Larry Sofia (Terry).
The family will receive friends at the DiCicco & Sons Funeral Home, 15701 St. Clair Ave. Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday Oct. 22 at the funeral home. Interment All Souls Cemetery.
