There was burled, too, Captain Edward Connor, who came with his wife, Christina, to Oswego in 1796, he dying July 2, 1831. He had been a company commander in the abortive campaign led by Col. Marinus Willett against Fort Ontario in the
closing days of the Revolutionary War.
