He was born January 13, 1933 in Halifax, PA, son of the late Edwin E. Cook and Minnie A. Dockey.
He was a retired switchman for the former Commonwealth Telephone Company, Harrisburg.
He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and member of the VFW Post #3285, Gratz. He enjoyed his motorcycles and watching his grandson racing motocross.
He was the widower of Clara J. (Snyder) Cook.
Surviving are his wife, Mary L. (Sprout) Cook, at home; Son, Edwin E. Cook; 2 daughters, Glenda G. Botts and, Kim L. Troutman, all from Elizabethville; 2 Step-sons, Les A. Harvey, Harrisburg and Todd A. Hardy, Richmond, VA; Step-daughter, Tammy L. Wilton, Goochland, VA; Sister, Shirley Henninger and Step-Father, George R. Dockey, both of Elizabethville; 3 Grandchildren, 4 Step-Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, 8 Step-Great Grandchildren.
