Glenn E. Cook, 76, of Washington Twp., passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Holy Sprirt Hospital, Camp Hill.

He was born January 13, 1933 in Halifax, PA, son of the late Edwin E. Cook and Minnie A. Dockey.

He was a retired switchman for the former Commonwealth Telephone Company, Harrisburg.

He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and member of the VFW Post #3285, Gratz. He enjoyed his motorcycles and watching his grandson racing motocross.

He was the widower of Clara J. (Snyder) Cook.

Surviving are his wife, Mary L. (Sprout) Cook, at home; Son, Edwin E. Cook; 2 daughters, Glenda G. Botts and, Kim L. Troutman, all from Elizabethville; 2 Step-sons, Les A. Harvey, Harrisburg and Todd A. Hardy, Richmond, VA; Step-daughter, Tammy L. Wilton, Goochland, VA; Sister, Shirley Henninger and Step-Father, George R. Dockey, both of Elizabethville; 3 Grandchildren, 4 Step-Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, 8 Step-Great Grandchildren.

Service will be private and at the convience of the family. Inurnment private, Maple Grove Cemetery
