The reason this was done was because he said that many years after she had died, she felt like no one probably would remember her anyway. But by having the inscription she selected on her stone, people would see it and remember it.
Glenna June Anderson, 81, passed away Thursday June 19, 2008, at 5:28 p.m. at the Mercy Medical Center, Rogers, Ark.
She was born Dec. 3, 1926, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Glenn J. Bellomy and Esther M. (Wortring) Bellomy.
She was a 1943 graduate of Central High School, Columbus, Ohio. She had been a factory worker. She married Andrew Anderson and he preceded her in death many years ago. Her parents, a daughter, Linda Osborn, two sisters, Sharon Loudermilk, Patricia Chaffin, and two brothers, James Bellomy, and Jerry Bellomy also preceded her in death.
Two daughters, Penny Fenstemaker, Columbus, Ohio, Carol S. Vonderschmitt, Orient, Ohio; two sons, Robert Johnson, Columbus, Ohio, David J. Johnson, Noel, Mo.; three sisters, Lois Rigby and Martha Bellomy both of Columbus, Ohio, Peggy Friley, Carthage, Mo.; a brother, Robert Bellomy, Patasklua, Ohio, 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren survive her.
Services were held at the Knell Mortuary Chapel, Interment will be in the Park Cemetery, Carthage, Mo.
