Peter Edgar "Pete" Hubble, 88, a retired farmer and painter, died Saturday in Veteran's Hospital at Indianapolis.
Mr. Hubble was a veteran of World Was I and was educated in the New Ross Schools.
He was born in New Ross on Jan 15, 1887, a son of Enoch and Mary Toney Hubble. He was married to Maude May Edie on Dec 3,1928. She survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Jean Shelton, of Crawfordsville; a grandchild and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2p.m. Tuesday in Powers Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewayne Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in New Ross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
