Funeral service for Mrs. Mattie Mae Wasserbeck, 78, of Oklahoma City will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Kentucky Avenue Baptist Church, Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Wasserbeck was born Feb 13, 1898 in Rush Springs. She died Wednesday in an Oklahoma City hospital. Mrs. Wasserbeck moved to Oklahoma City from Ninnekah in 1932.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Ellis of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Betty Tommaney of Covina Calif.; one son, James of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Gene Smith of New Orleans, La., and Alvin Smith of Arizona; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Doss and Mrs. Katheryn Trammell, both of Midwest City; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and an aunt Abbie Wasserbeck of Chickasha.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha under the direction of Sherman Demuth Funeal Home, Oklahoma City. Local arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
