Deceased Name: Bettye M. Cruse
North Richland HIlls - Bettye M. Cruse 66, a retired registered nurse, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday February 8, 2002, at a local hospital.
Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday at North Fort Worth Baptist Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Bettye Cruse was born October 20, 1935 in Lockney, Texas. She dedicated 37 years of her life to nursing, spending the last 17 years at Cooks Children Hospital. She was devoted to her church, teaching sixth grade Sunday School for 38 years and serving as a summer camp nurse for 20 years.
Survivors: Husband Joe Cruse, Sr. of North Richland Hills; sons Joe Cruse, Jr. and wife LeAnn of Fort Worth, Scott Cruse and wife, Marci of North Richland Hills and Terrell Cruse of Royse City; grandchildren, Brittany, Tara, Taylor, Robert and Hayden Cruse, brothers Royce Alvin and Jerry Vernon; sister, Norma Chalupa and Nina White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

My aunt Bettye was a delight to know. She was one of
those who bubbled with joy.
She loved the Lord and her life reflected this love.
