Patricia Joy McKinney, 56, died at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis. She went to be with the Lord. She was born March 17, 1947, in Glover, Mo., to Robert and Paralee (Savage) O'Connor. On Aug. 18, 1982. Pat graduated from Civic memorial High School in Bethalto IL. She married Gerald McKinney in Savanah, Tenn. He survives. She was a self-employed owner/operator at the Marine Transportation Co., where she was a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Grace Community Church of Bethalto. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dawn Hettick, Missi and Kevin Porter, all of Bunker Hill, Kim and Jerry Brigance of Counce, Tenn.; a son, Gerald McKinney Jr. of Counce; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Jim Wooten of Moro and Judy Vail and Bob Williams of Sorento; eight grandchildren, Kevin Cabler, Dustin Dean, Zach Brigance, Teddie Jo Porter, Gage Porter, Jered Hettick, Jacob Dallmier and Sarah Dallmier; five special nieces; two special nephews; and longtime special friends Sharon and John Ward of Bunker Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Tyler Hettick.
Burial was at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
