When the family was small they lived just north of the family home in Vernal, in a little house. They later moved to Provo where Don worked at the Roberts Hotel. Later they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and ran a Boarding House. Don stood erect and was careful in his appearance. The family was friendly and made you feel very special. While he was irrigating on the Church Stake Farm he was stricken and died on July 2, 1951. He was serving as the High Priest President of River View Ward.
