The angel of death came early Monday afternoon, June 27, 1932, to end the labored breathing of Nicholas Obolensky. A cardiac and lung condition had made the last few years most uncomfortable. The end came at Municipal hospital in Rochester, in which city he had spent the last 20 years.
He was born in Finland, February 20, 1872, and came to this country about 45 years ago. On October 10 1896, he was united in marriage with Veronica Stoffer, of North Java. They made their home at Hermitage, and later moved to Bliss, where the deceased's wife and son still reside.
Left to mourn their loss are his wife and one son, William Obolensky of Bliss, and two daughters, Mrs. R. F. Steinmiller and Florence Obolensky, and one grandson of Rochester.
