JONES, VIRGINIA M Virginia M. Jones, age 86, died January 20, 2013. "Ginny" as she was known by friends was married to Charles R. Jones Sr. "Charlie" for 63 years. He has been deceased since March 1, 2010. "Ginny" was involved in politics and was a Commissioned Deputy Sheriff for the State of Alabama, Jefferson County and also a registered Nurse. She is survived by one brother Earnest Winchester, two daughters, Jennie Sue Ridgeway "Suzie" and Diana Lynn Cummins "Terri" and one son Charles R. Jones Jr. "Bob", along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was a friend to all she met. A kind, loving and caring mother, sister, granny and G.G. She was a wonderful Mother and wife. She leaves her children and family with a terrible broken heart. So for now we will give God his angel on earth and thank Him for letting us have her for 86 years. Visitation will be held on Friday Jan 25 from 11am until 12pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with chapel services starting at 12pm with burial in Forest Crest Cemetery. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing and the Rev. Joe Mills officiating.
