Age 96, daughter of the late Louis D. and Mabel Spiringer Wadlinger. A lifelong resident of Erie, she worked for First National Bank of Pennsylvania for 48 years, retiring in 1972. She was a 1924 graduate of Academy High School, attended Erie Business College and completed several courses with the American Institute of Banking. She was a volunteer at Saint Vincent Health Center for many years. She was a longtime member of the Erie Chapter of Zonta International and an active member of Westminster Garden Club, where she received many awards, including one for heading the beautification of the grounds in front of the Sigsbee Street Reservoir Caretakers House. She was a former member of Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, Pennsylvania Audubon Society, Gridley Chapter No. 324 Order of Eastern Star and Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed bird watching, traveling, reading and crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Merle F. and Arthur P. Wadlinger; and her companion, E.W. "Butch" Henneous.

She is survived by three nieces, Linda Parker, Carolyn A. "Carrie" Wadlinger and Beth J. Warren; a nephew, Fred Wadlinger; a grandniece, Michelle Lenz; a grandnephew, Douglas Marcum; three great-grandnieces and a great-grandnephew.
