Russell H. Cunningham, age 80, Eminence, died June 5 in the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Services were June 10 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, North Salem.

Born June 15, 1918 in Putnam County, he was the son of Levi and Lora (Tillison) Cunningham. He graduated from Lizton High School and served in the U. S. Army in World War II. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Eminence Christian Church, Hurst-Collins American Legion Post 281 and VFW Post 1550, Greencastle.

Survivors include his widow, Kathryn G. (Williams) Cunningham; two sisters, Elsie Little of Indianapolis and Janette Glaser of Millbury, Ohio; a brother, Laurel Cunningham of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews.
