Services were to be at 11:30 a.m. today at Crestview Baptist Church in Petal for Willa Dean Sellers, 59, of Petal, who died May 24, 1993, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, following a lengthy illness.
The Rev. Raymond Parkin was to officiate. Interment was to be in Hillcrest Cemetery with Moore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were to be Jimmy Geautreaux, Robert Geartreaux, Luther Cochran Jr., Nicholas Cochran, Matthew Cochran, Lee Cochran, Paul Cochran and Tony Cochran.
Mrs. Sellers was a Lucedale native and a long-time resident of Petal. She was a clerk in the Forrest County clerk's office for the past 13 years and was a member of Veterans of Foreign War Post No. 3036 auxiliary of Hattiesburg. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter Cynthia Ross of Petal; four sons, Michael L. Sellers of Menlo, Ga., Walter T. Sellers, of New Augusta and John W. Sellers and Ronald D. Sellers, both of Petal; her mother, Gabie Cochran of Petal; four brothers, Earnest E. Cochran, Luther G, Cochran and T. Monroe Cochran, all of Petal, and Leroy Cochran of Coldwater; two sisters, Betty J. Brooks of Brooklyn and Lora C. Pierce of Eatonville; and four grandchildren.
