He was born March 27, 1955, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Juanita Ruth Lopez.
As a young boy, he lived with Luciana L. Reyes and his Aunt Mary C. Reyes in Parsons where he grew up and attended school.
In the past, he had worked mostly as a painter with Leroy Murdock in Parsons.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Parsons.
He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include: Mother – Juanita Lopez Kansas City, KS one son, Brandon Lopez Oklahoma City, OK; two brothers, Andrew Lopez Kansas City, MO Raymond Lopez Kansas City, KS; two sisters, Gloria Hatmaker Hubert, NC Carmen Haflich Kansas City, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Lopez.
