In the past, he had worked mostly as a painter with Leroy Murdock in Parsons.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Parsons.
He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include: Mother – Juanita Lopez Kansas City, KS one son, Brandon Lopez Oklahoma City, OK; two brothers, Andrew Lopez Kansas City, MO Raymond Lopez Kansas City, KS; two sisters, Gloria Hatmaker Hubert, NC Carmen Haflich Kansas City, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Lopez.
